Zoe had another field trip on Wednesday, but this time they went to the local fire station... and the best part of all was that Grandpa went with! Zoe had a great time, but I think at times that she was more consumed in Grandpa taking the pics... it doesn't surprise me at all!
It is Fire Prevention week at school, so Zoe is learning everything... however she was a little scared during the practice fire drill on Wednesday. We got to experience this for ourselves this morning at 5:40 am when Zoe came in our room crying and saying that there was a fire... Needless to say she heard the fire station's horn (we can hear this even when our windows are closed) and thought that it was our house... I explained that it was someone else's home or accident and that she should go back to sleep. As I was trying to calm her down and get her dose off... Cole walked into the room saying that he also heard the horn... and then the alarm clock went off...

At least you knew they were going to the Fire Station! Apparently in JK they do not notify us! I almost did not believe Sarah when she told me.
